About Us
Our Purpose
As he began to pray about the Lord's leading in planting a new church, Pastor Rob Moore could not get over the fact that there was a community in his own backyard that had a need for a church like Ambassador Baptist Church. While the gospel is needed everywhere, we can't overlook our neighbors just down the road or right across the street. It's our intention that we would reach the southern region of Brown County, Ohio with the gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ while not overlooking our duty in world evangelism and missions.
Beliefs
At Ambassador Baptist Church, we believe that the King James Version of the Bible is the perfectly preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people. We believe in the triune God of the Bible. We believe that a person is saved by grace through faith, plus nothing and minus nothing. We believe that a person is not able to save himself, nor is that person able to lose the salvation that was given to them by the Lord. We believe in a local church. We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was buried in the tomb, and rose again the third day. We believe that only through belief in Him is salvation obtained. We believe in the pre-tribulational rapture of the church, and the pre-millennial return of Christ. Leadership
Pastor Rob Moore was saved at the age of 28. Not long after, the Lord called him into fulltime ministry. He enrolled at Louisiana Baptist University and graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Studies in 2022. He began working on the staff of Bible Baptist Church in Mount Orab in 2021. He has a wife (Melissa) and two daughters (Hannah and Rebekah) who he loves dearly. One of his greatest joys in life is to tell others about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
